If you don't know anything about Thelma Sanders, she was a very "abundant" Native American woman and the namesake of the heirloom squash she developed. And, we just happen to have an abundance of her squash! This winter squash resembles an acorn squash in appearance but has a white/buckskin-colored skin and deep orange flesh. Also known as the "sweep potato squash" it has a very sweet flavor resembling sweet potato. Until they are gone, we are offering these scrumptious delights for 0.85 cents/lb!
